What Is Contract Staffing?

Contract staffing is the arrangement of employees on a contractual basis or on a limited-term basis as opposed to permanent work. Contract staffing is the method used by businesses in order to cope with the seasonal loads, skills shortage, or a project-based demand. It allows flexibility in costs, accelerated recruiting, and also specialized talent acquisition.

Contract staffing plans can either be through recruitment agencies or direct contracts. This strategy can be used to keep organizations flexible in their workforce and yet meet the labor standards. Contract employees are regularly employed with permanent workers, which also provides continuity and productivity of operation.
