Employee Lifecycle

The employee lifecycle is a framework that tracks an employee’s journey within the organisation. Categorised into seven core stages: attraction, recruitment, onboarding, retention, development, off boarding, and alumni/happy leavers, the lifecycle framework allows HR personnel to note the employee’s highs and lows during each stage and figure out solutions to implement. These solutions can also be applied in the future in case another employee is found in a similar situation.

Examples of Employee Lifecycle
